End User Licence Agreement

A per-device licence for the desktop app, covering restrictions and the third-party packet capture driver it ships with.

Last updated 26 July 2026

This agreement covers the Perimetery PRO desktop application supplied by Joseph E., a sole proprietor trading as Perimetery, 412 Oak Street, Austin TX. Installing or using the software accepts it. Last updated 26 July 2026.

Grant

Subject to an active subscription, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and run the software on the number of devices your plan allows. Licences are bound to a hashed device identifier at activation.

Restrictions

  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded
  • Do not redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease or sell the software or your licence key
  • Do not circumvent or tamper with licensing, activation or device-limit enforcement
  • Do not remove or alter proprietary notices

Third-party components

The installer bundles WinPcap 4.1.3, a packet capture driver distributed under its own licence by the WinPcap project and Riverbed Technology. It is installed as a prerequisite and remains subject to its own terms, which are not superseded by this agreement. You may already have a compatible driver installed, in which case the bundled installer takes no action.

The software requires administrator privileges and installs a kernel-mode driver in order to capture and shape traffic. This is inherent to how packet-level network control works on Windows.

Ownership

All intellectual property in the software remains ours. This agreement licenses the software; it does not transfer ownership.

Updates

Updates released during your subscription are covered by this agreement. We may modify or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice before removing material functionality.

Termination

This licence ends automatically if you breach it, if your subscription lapses, or if you stop using the software. On termination you must uninstall it.
